in relation to:
- Personal insurance (life and health)
- KiwiSaver
- General and commercial insurance
Invicta Financial works with a panel of approved insurance providers, which may limit the scope of product recommendations.
Fees and Expenses
We do not charge a fee for the services we provide at MyFamilyCover. If you decide to proceed with the financial advice provided by Invicta Financial, they may receive commissions from the insurance providers for policies you choose.
Commissions may include:
- Insurance Products: Invicta Financial receives an initial commission (0-230%) and ongoing commissions (0-25%) from the providers when policies are accepted or renewed.
- KiwiSaver: Invicta Financial receives an initial commission based on your PAYE income or transfer balance, and an ongoing commission (0-0.50%) based on your account balance.
- Fire & General Insurance: Invicta Financial receives an initial commission (0-50%) and ongoing commissions (0-10%) on premiums.

- Personal and group insurance (life cover, disability, income protection, and trauma)
- KiwiSaver
- Fire & General Insurance

How We Manage Conflicts of Interest
MyFamilyCover is a referral service, and we are not compensated for providing you with information. However, when you proceed with advice or recommendations from Invicta Financial, they may receive commissions from the insurance providers.
To ensure your interests are prioritised, Invicta Financial:
- Follows a proven 6-step advice process to ensure the advice provided is suitable to your needs.
- Discloses the maximum level of commission they could receive for any recommendation made.
- Provides a written explanation of the advice and how it aligns with your individual needs.
Invicta Financial ensures impartial advice through regular audits of client files and adherence to the Code of Professional Conduct for Financial Advice Services.
Our Duties and Compliance
Invicta Financial must meet the standards of competence, knowledge, and skill set out in the Code of Professional Conduct for Financial Advice Services, ensuring that the advice provided is of a high professional standard. They are also required to prioritise your interests and ensure that the advice is not influenced by their own interests or those of any other person.
What If Something Goes Wrong?
If you have a complaint or issue with the services provided by Invicta Financial, please reach out directly to them. You can contact Invicta Financial via email at info@invictafinancial.co.nz or 0800 468 282 for assistance. We aim to resolve all complaints within 10 working days of receiving them.
If you are unable to resolve the issue with Invicta Financial, you can contact Financial Service Complaints Limited (FSCL), an external dispute resolution scheme. FSCL is independent and provides free services to help resolve complaints.
